How you opt in to receive messages
You opt in to this SMS program in any of the following ways:
- By texting our published business number — (515) 800-4818. Doing so initiates a two-way conversation with BHBC Property Management about your tenancy and constitutes opt-in to this program.
- At lease signing — when you sign a lease for a property managed by BHBC, your welcome packet identifies our SMS number as the primary channel for tenant communication and references this Terms page for SMS program details.
- By providing your phone number on a rental application or other written communication with BHBC for the purpose of property-management correspondence.
By opting in via any method above, you consent to receive recurring SMS messages from BHBC Property Management LLC related to your tenancy. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Text STOP to (515) 800-4818 to opt out at any time. Text HELP for assistance.
What we will NOT do with your phone number
We will not share, sell, transfer, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number or any SMS opt-in consent information to any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is used solely to communicate with you about your tenancy with BHBC Property Management LLC.
Program description
This program enables two-way text message communication between BHBC Property Management LLC and current tenants of properties we manage. Messages relate to maintenance requests, rent reminders, scheduling vendor visits, lease questions, and other operational matters tied to your existing tenancy.
Eligible recipients
This service is intended for current tenants of properties managed by BHBC Property Management LLC. The business text number (515) 800-4818 is provided to tenants at lease signing as part of their welcome materials.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us and the operational needs of your tenancy. You may receive messages in response to inquiries you initiate, scheduling confirmations for vendor visits, occasional rent reminders, and operational updates relevant to your tenancy. Most tenants exchange a small number of messages per month.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier's plan. BHBC does not charge you for sending or receiving messages through this program.
